COMETS Program

Courses On Math, Engineering, Technology, and Science

The COMETS Program is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program directed at supporting and guiding middle school girls as they develop impressions of their abilities in science, engineering, math, and technology.

The program has two components: mentoring, and hands-on experiential learning.

Students will choose a mentor (a female STEM professional) to guide and support them through an on-line career planning series. Hands-on workshops will be provided monthly by female STEM professionals in a variety of fields such as: medical, environmental, science, computer science, and engineering.

This program is an exciting way to discover the career pathways available to girls interested in science, technology, math, and engineering.
