Growing Regional Engineering through Academics & Training
The G.R.E.A.T. Program is a new initiative designed to match promising Penn State New Kensington engineering students with opportunities to build professional experience with local companies.
Unlike other programs that require student interns to be in their junior or senior year in order to participate, the GREAT Program is designed to encourage students to develop skills and gain experience earlier in their academic careers.
The GREAT Program gives local company partners the opportunity to be directly involved with developing talented engineering students. By providing career-building experiences to exceptional local students, employers have the chance to help grow our regional engineering workforce and train their own highly-skilled employees for the future.
