Conducting research under the direction of a faculty member is a rewarding experience and a valuable component of undergraduate education. Many students receive credit for research as part of an independent study course, and students may be eligible to apply for Undergraduate Research Stipends.
Students interested in exploring research opportunities should talk to a faculty member in their area of interest.

Research and Creative Exposition

The 2013 Research and Creative Exposition was held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Athletics Center at Penn State New Kensington.  Student projects were on display throughout the event and participants had the opportunity to discuss their work with visitors from both the campus and the community. A concurrent job fair in the Athletics Center also gave visitors the chance to speak with potential employers from the region.
